RCIA Mary and the Church - Presented by Auxiliary Bishop Mark Edwards
On 31 Oct we were fortunate to have Auxiliary Bishop Mark present us his talk on Mary and the Church. It was not the usual talk but one more on how Mary is perceived by the Church and her closeness to Jesus Christ. It centered on images that invoked our thinking, followed by discussion and what we see in the images that were presented to us. Through the images we could see how close Mary is to Jesus and why we should always, as Catholics, pray to her. The images showed our Blessed Mother not just in the Church but also on the cross and more impoirtantly in our lives. Many thanks Bishop Mark for a thought filled RCIA session. We are blessed to have your wisdom and guidance.
