Altar Linen

The cleaning of Altar Linen involves washing and ironing the cloths and the towels that are used by the Priest and the Eucharistic Ministers.  The linen is taken home once a week after the Sunday Masses, and then returned before Mass the following week. [Coordinator: Margaret Bartolo]

Baptism Ministry Team

A group of dedicated parishioners meet each month with the parents of children who are to be baptised in order to help the family to prepare for this most important event in the life of their child/children. One or more members of the group are present on the day of the baptism to be a welcoming presence for the family and to assist our clergy in the practical preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism. Baptism Preparation Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month and baptisms are on the 1st and the last Sunday of the month after the 10.30am Mass. [Coordinator: Mary Borg]

Children’s Liturgy

The Children’s Liturgy is the Liturgy of the Word suitably adapted to make it relevant to the lives and experiences of young children. It gives them the opportunity to understand the Gospel message and participate in the Eucharistic Celebration at their own level. Children’s Liturgy is provided during the 10:30am Mass on Sundays for ages 4-9. The Children’s Liturgy team members are supplied with copies of the Gospel of the day and worksheets for the children.  Those volunteering in this ministry need to have a Working with Children Check, which is obtained free of charge. [Coordinators: Taryn Darlow & Pam Soto]

Young Men of God

Young Men of God (YMG) is a Catholic movement of young men—students, young professionals, tradies, teachers who come together to re-ignite and help each other to reach their God-given potential as leaders and heralds of the truth for future generations as well as to equip and empower themselves to help others to realise their immense value and purpose. But most of all, to experience the joy and fulfilment of living a life with an enduring and profound purpose.
