Relics of St Carlo Acutis Visit Our Parish

From Monday 3rd November to Saturday 8 November 2025 it was both encouraging and a privilege for our parish to host the First Class Relic of St Carlo Acutis along with the Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles.

A large number of parishioners and visitors came to spend time in prayer, reflection, and meditation in the presence of the relic. The atmosphere of reverence and devotion was palpable, and it was inspiring to see so many people engaging with the exhibition and deepening their connection to the Eucharist.

We sincerely thank everyone who helped make this event possible, whether through volunteering, setting up, or assisting in other ways. Your support ensured the week was smooth and prayerful for all who attended.

St Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) was an Italian teenager known for his deep love of the Eucharist, his devotion to the Virgin Mary, and his pioneering use of technology to spread the Gospel. From a young age, Carlo had a particular interest in sharing the faith in the Eucharist, creating a worldwide catalogue of Eucharistic miracles to inspire devotion and draw people closer to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He was canonised by Pope Leo XIV on 7 September 2025, becoming the Church’s first millennial saint and is often called the “patron saint of the internet.”
